If you find yourself in a situation where the software control panel does not detect the device, please check the following steps.
For Windows
1. Open the Windows Task manager
2. Go to "service" tab and check for a process “Antelope-Manager-Service”
A) If the service is not active, please use the administration tab on the control panel of the interface to restart or reinstall the server
B) If you have an antivirus software, try disabling or uninstalling it
* Some anti-virus software programs occupy the same ports as the control panel networking service does, rendering it unable to communicate.
For macOS
1. Open "Activity Monitor" utility tool on your mac computer
2. Check for Antelope-Manager-Server process
A) If the process is not there, try reinstalling or restarting the process from the software control panel, the administration tab
B) If Point A did not help, check if the firewall is disabled. MacOS firewall blocks the ports the networking service uses not allowing the process to properly communicate
