We have received reports that the latest macOS Sonoma 14.4 update on M2 / M3 Apple Silicon computers, has caused compatibility issues with the iLok PACE protection. This affects all plug-in manufactures who are using iLok, including our Synergy Core Native plug-ins, and it is specifically related to the AU (Audio-Unit) format used in Logic Pro.
We do not recommend updating to macOS 14.4 until the issue between Apple and PACE is resolved. You can read PACE's official statement here.
In case you have already updated your OS, please try the following:
- Downgrade macOS: revert to a previous macOS version if possible.
- Run your DAW and iLok License Manager under Rosetta mode
